Women's and Children's:
Women's Health (6G): a sixteen (16) bed unit
with private and semi-private accommodations for adult gynecology/oncology
patients.
Labor and Delivery: a nursing unit with seven (7) labor rooms, four
(4) prep/labor rooms, five (5) delivery rooms, and two (2) high risk beds,
for the care of the intrapartal patient.
Perinatal 4P: a nursing unit with semi-private and private accommodations
for twenty-seven (27) antepartal, high risk, postoperative cesarean section,
and postpartal patients.
Newborn Nursery: a twenty-five (25) bed, Level 1, newborn nursery.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU): a thirty-five (35) bed Level II
and III unit for the care of critically ill and intermediate care newborn
infants.
Women's Health 6J: a single unit of fifteen (15) beds with private
and semi-private accommodations for observation patients who require hospitalization
for less than 24 hours.
Pediatrics (5G/J): a double nursing unit with private, semi-private,
and four (4) bed accommodations for a total of thirty-seven (37) beds for
general medical and surgical pediatric patients.
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU): a ten (10) bed unit for the care
of critically ill medical, surgical, and/or trauma pediatric patients.
Critical Care:
Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU): a fifteen (15) bed unit for the
care of critically ill patients with medical conditions.
Burn Center: a four (4) bed intensive care, eight (8) bed convalescent
care, OR, two (2) PACU beds, and follow-up clinic for the burn victim throughout
the treatment period.
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit: a twelve (12) bed unit, including four
(4) laminar flow beds, and eight Hepafilter Rooms for the care of bone marrow
transplant patients.
Telemetry 7G: a single unit of twenty-three (23) beds with private
and semi-private accommodations for medical cardiac patients, who require
close monitoring.
Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU): an eighteen (18) bed unit for
the care of critically ill patients with surgical and trauma conditions.
Oncology 6KE: a single unit of sixteen (16) beds with private and semi-private
accommodations for oncology patients.
Med/Surg:
Renal Dialysis: a ten (10) station unit for the care of patients requiring
hemodialysis on an acute basis and chronic outpatients that have acute problems
requiring procedures such as kidney biopsy, Tenchoff catheters, and Perm catheter
placement.
Psychiatry 10G/J: a distinct licensed psychiatric nursing unit with
semi-private accommodations for thirty-three (33) adult acute care psychiatric
patients.
Outpatient Surgery 3G: a twenty-three (23) bed unit with semi-private
and private accommodations for the care of patients admitted for pre-operative,
operative, and post-operative care who will be discharged the same day or
be admitted to an inpatient unit following surgery.
General Surgery 8K: two (2) adjoining nursing units of twenty-three
(23) beds each with semi-private and private accommodations for adult general
surgical, vascular, thoracic, neuro, tumor, and trauma patients.
Orthopedics 9KW: a twenty-three (23) bed unit with semi-private and
private accommodations for adult orthopedic patients.
Neurosurgery 9KE: a thirteen (13) bed unit with private and semi-private
accommodations for adult and adolescent neurosurgical patients, including
a two (2) bed neuro step-down unit and a two (2) bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
Medicine 7K: two (2) adjoining nursing units of twenty-three (23) beds
each with private and semi-private accommodations for adult general medicine
patients.
Med/Surg 10KW: a twenty-three (23) bed unit with private and semi-private
accommodations for adult nephrology, urology, and ENT patients as well as
overflow general medicine patients.
Patient Care Support Services:
Nursing Standards including Performance Improvement/Policies and Procedures,
and JCAHO Preparation, CPR Education including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and
NRP for Nursing as well as Medical Staff, Students, parents, and of new staff.
Education including Patient, Continuing, Inservice, and Clinical education.
Diabetes Education and Wound, Ostomy, Continence patient care
services.
Administrative House Managers, including 24 hour staffing and patient
transport personnel.
